WHEN CHURCH MET TRAD REBEL POP WAS BORN.

 

Two worlds have collided, now MOM have released the first in a series of singles with “Come By Me”

 

Released on June 12th "Come By Me" has made the RTÉ Recommends list 2 weeks running, is "Track of the Week" on Spin and KCLR, has reached 40k streams on Spotify and is getting regular airplay on BBC Radio Ulster, Newstalk among numerous others.

 

The teaser video, which features footage of Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing dancing in sync to the MOM song, was released 8 weeks ago to an account with 230 followers.  It has now close to 2million views.   

 

Lisa Canny and DeJay are musicians from two very different worlds.

Mayo-born Lisa is 7-time All-Ireland champion on harp and banjo. DeJay is a church musician turned songwriter from the American Gospel arena. The two individually moved to London May 2016 and soon after met in a legendary London recording studio. The rest is history.
